Brevard Zoo is open every day of the year, but summer is the best time to visit! Attend an African Safari: Starting this summer, Brevard Zoo will be hosting an African Safari exhibit. Visitors will get a chance to see some of the zoo’s most popular animals up close and personal, including lions, cheetahs, and more. This exhibit is sure to be a hit with kids and adults alike! 2. Catch a Show: Brevard Zoo has a variety of live animal shows throughout the summer months. From lemurs to gorillas to camels, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Be sure to check the schedule in advance to find out when the nearest show is happening. 3. Explore the Gardens: Brevard Zoo has large gardens that offer plenty of opportunities for exploration. Go on a safari
Looking for something fun to do this summer? Brevard Zoo is the perfect place to go! The zoo has tons of animals and activities that are sure to keep you entertained. Here are just a few of the fun things you can do at Brevard Zoo this summer:
- Take a safari tour of the zoo. On this tour, you’ll get to see all of the animals up close and learn about their habitats. You’ll also get a chance to feed some of the animals!
- Play in the playground. There are plenty of places to play in the zoo, including a large playground that’s perfect for kids aged 2-12 years old.
- Visit the aquarium. The zoo has two different aquariums – one with saltwater fish and another with freshwater fish – both of which are great for children aged 4-12 years old.
- Get photos of the animals. If you’re lucky, you may be able to get photos of some of Brevard Zoo‘s famous animal residents, such as lions, tigers, and bears!
Visit the zoo’s new exhibit: the Titan Forest
The Brevard Zoo is introducing a new exhibit this summer that’s sure to fascinate visitors – the Titan Forest. This lush, treetop oasis features over 50 species of trees and plants from around the world. The exhibit also includes a rainforest stream, a waterfall, and an animal habitat.
One of the highlights of the Titan Forest is the canopy walkway that spans across two levels. Visitors will be able to get up close and personal with some of the zoo’s more endangered animals while looking down at them from atop the trees. There are also several observation platforms and benches for visitors to stop by and take in all the sights and sounds of the forest.
The Titan Forest is open daily from 9 am-5 pm (last entry at 4:30 pm), and admission is free for all ages.
Swim with the dolphins
If you’re looking for a fun summer activity, swimming with dolphins is definitely an option! The Brevard Zoo offers visitors the chance to swim with these gentle mammals from 10 am-12 pm every Saturday and Sunday during the summer. This is a great opportunity to get up close and personal with these fascinating creatures, and you won’t be disappointed.
Play in the splash pad

Tour the aviary
The Brevard Zoo is a great place to spend a summer day. In addition to the animals, there are plenty of fun things to do at the zoo. The tour of the aviary is a great way to get up close with some of the zoo’s birds. You can also enjoy a picnic in the grassy area outside of the zoo, or take a walk on one of the trails.
